Snorkeling, Waterfall, Banana boat

Monday, 10/10/22 Had a great time in an excursion to Yelapa (you can only access Yelepa by boat) and La Mahuanita. Hopped on a party boat with people from Mexico, the US, Canada, and UK. Loud music, food, drinks..lots of alcohol were offered but I didn’t partake in the alcohol. I am amazed at how much people can drink. The boat staff was very generous with the alcohol. And some people kept putting their cups out asking for more. Los Arcos On the hike up to the waterfall, vendors displayed their arts, crafts, and wares. Love the bright colors and pictures. The hike up was worth cool and refreshing dip in the waterfall. Looking at this picture, you'd think that I was the only one on the tour. Pictures Don't Do Sedona Justice

Tuesday, January 10, 2023 Since we came in after sunset last night, we didn't get to see Sedona beauty until today. Opened up our curtains in our inn and saw this. "Wow" is all I can say. This was the first of many wows today. First stop was to the Sedona visitors center where we asked questions, got maps, and some tips. Next stop was a 1 minute walk to Wildflower restaurant where we got lunch for later. I wanted to make sure we had lunch when we were out on the hike. I loved the glass blown flowers in the restaurant. We began our drive down Hwy 179 where many of the top sites are on. We went to the Chapel of the Holy Cross. My gaze was up, up, up and we just couldn't believe the beauty around us. The chapel was serene and a spot for prayer and contemplation. From the chapel area, we could see magnificent views. Arriving in Sedona, AZ April 6-7, 2024

Saturday, April 6, 2024 We booked our trip on Thursday, 4/4/24 and two days later, we were leaving for Sedona, AZ. Kind of a spur of the moment trip in terms of planning. Victor had just finished "executing" spring camp and I just finished the school plan and budget for next year. Better planned people may have done better, but this worked for us at this moment. We booked our flights through Alaska Airlines and our hotel and rental car through Priceline. When we got to SFO, we saw Tai Schoeman (principal at Gianinni MS) and his family and woah, we were all going to Arizona! Their itinerary was different but we'd be in Sedona at the same time for one day. That was cool When we arrived at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, we followed the directions to the rental car office. The spot was not where Hertz, Budget, Avis, Enterprise or any of the other rental car companies were.
