Holiday at Disneyland

On the tram a little after 8:00 AM and ready for a day of magical adventure!

Silly people!

This is my first time riding the Haunted Mansion during the holidays. The theme was The Night Before Christmas. Though I've never seen the movie, this was my favorite ride of the day. Super cool to see the inside and outside with the holiday theme. I

n fact, the entire park was in a holiday theme and I just loved it. 

Lunch! Felt so good to sit and eat yummy fried chicken with mashed potatoes and pasta with beef. Have no idea what these items' names are on the menu because I didn't order them. The "kids" used the Disney app to order food and we never had to get in line and wait for food. Use your phone and select a pickup time and pickup! Simple and easy! 

We rode Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon in the Star Wars area. Super fun and exciting to role-play. I remember seeing Star Wars at the Coronet Theater on Geary Blvd when I was ten years old. LONG LINES. BIG DEAL. BLOCKBUSTER for sure and the beginning of it all. 

First time in the cantina bar. The "kids" made reservations online and we returned to access this special experience.  I saw an open table and told Corinne who beelined over there only to be stopped by staff. Table reservations have to be made 90 days in advance. Yikes. Stand we will. 

I don't know what ride this is...Thunder Mountain? Happy, smiling faces at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Always in awe watching the parade. Moving and dancing to the music. 

Cinderella's Castle is gorgeous at night. It feels like it looks different this time. 

Did they add other colored lights to the facade? 

We finished the evening with the fireworks show and Fantasmic. No pictures were taken as I held those images in my mind and hopefully, my memory. Walking Main Street and leaving before midnight. I wasn't disappointed to go home before the carriage turned into a pumpkin. I had my fill of magic and will treasure this special outing with women exhibiting the beauty of princesses and princes inside and out.
